Hey everyone,

I've been digging through the vaults and busting out some things that I've had tucked away for awhile and I've been uploading them onto http://www.yourrmix.com/ for download so check the spot out and help support us dj's so we don't have to get real jobs...

...Anyhow, big things are in the works, new mix cd is done, it should be going out to press within the next week or so which means it could be out by months end if everything goes well. I've already begun on the next mix as well as working on another live mix that I will be uploading onto this blog and website http://www.djaristocat.com/ for free download, look for that in about a week...

...Also, a new sticker will be available when the new album is released. Look for more remixes, more cds, more downloads and just plain more from Aristocat this year...I'm getting off my ass and back to work, although I do a lot of my work sitting down so I guess I'm getting off the couch and moving over to the chair in the studio. Good times.

Hey everyone, I'm finally back from Alaska and Seattle and Chicago and my life in airports. Winter travel is always a bad idea, I am happy to be back in LA and in 75 degree weather. Anyhow, still working on the much delayed new mix cd, at 71 minutes right now so hopefully it will be wrapped up soon. Got a new sticker coming out soon as well. Back In The Lower 48

Hey everyone, it's been a minute since I updated the blog, or anything else for that matter, been travelling like a madman the last month. I was on a sabbatical in Europe. Amsterdam, Munich for Oktoberfest and then visited one of my homelands, Prague/Czech Republic. As soon as I got back from Europe I hopped on a plane up to Alaska to spin in Anchorage. Alaska is dope. Great people, beautiful landscape and terrific food. Anyhow, I'm going to get my ish together and update everything this week. Doing 2 shows this weekend in L.A., Friday night at Bar Lubitsch and Saturday night at LAX. Hope to see you all out and about.

Stand Up Toto

Hey there peeps, just got back from a short trip to the Chi, spun at a chill spot called Swig with DJ Once A Month, had a blast. Trying to do the blog more frequently so keep your eyes peeled and as always check the bottom of this post for a free Aristocat related download. It's a little blend I did called Stand Up Toto, this is a b-side that I drop sometimes, it hasn't been on any of my proper mix cd's so it's pretty much exclusive to this site and djcity.com so enjoy it and spread the seed.

In other news, still grinding the axe on the new mixtape. Still spinning gigs in LA so roll through sometime and say hi. I usually do this spot Bar Lubitsch on either Friday or Saturday, play mostly dance/electro/house there so if you're looking to hear the latest T-Pain track you may want to avoid my night there as your requests will not be honored. Still Working On New Ish...

Hey Everyone, hadn't posted since my cross country road trip to Chicago so I figured I should chime in here with some updates. Still working on the new mix, a.k.a. Aristocat Untitled Mix #8 (no title yet) it's going to be uptempo, more than halfway done and I haven't dipped below 126 BPM's. I've also begun preliminary work on the next mix, I keep saying I want to do 2 mixes a year but this time it may actually happen, now that probably won't mean 2 in the calendar year of 08 but mixes 8 & 9 will be out I have a feeling about 6 months apart, maybe sooner.

The vinyl volume 5 has been put on hold for the moment, still working on a couple of the tracks for that, wasn't happy with where they were so when it's done, it's done.

I want to post a track everytime I post so keep a lookout for outtakes, b-sides, and sometimes cutting room floor junk that I can't bring myself to delete. And in the spirit of nostalgia, here is the first track I ever made on Reason, this is from like 3 years ago, it's a remix of Drop It Like It's Hot, very minimal, dark, never used it for anything.
