News! & New Remixes (& Old) Uploaded Onto www.yourremix.com

Hey everyone,

I've been digging through the vaults and busting out some things that I've had tucked away for awhile and I've been uploading them onto http://www.yourrmix.com/ for download so check the spot out and help support us dj's so we don't have to get real jobs...

...Anyhow, big things are in the works, new mix cd is done, it should be going out to press within the next week or so which means it could be out by months end if everything goes well. I've already begun on the next mix as well as working on another live mix that I will be uploading onto this blog and website http://www.djaristocat.com/ for free download, look for that in about a week...

...Also, a new sticker will be available when the new album is released. Look for more remixes, more cds, more downloads and just plain more from Aristocat this year...I'm getting off my ass and back to work, although I do a lot of my work sitting down so I guess I'm getting off the couch and moving over to the chair in the studio. Good times.

California Dreamin'

Hi There,
I was going through some old mixes and stumbled across a full length blend of California Dreamin' that I did. I totally forgot about this and I know several of you out in Chicago are thinking about LA and the 80 degree weather we've been having out here so in the spirit of rubbing it in here is the track for you to listen to while you hide under the covers for 2 more months...

The Return of the Cat

Hey everyone, I'm finally back from Alaska and Seattle and Chicago and my life in airports. Winter travel is always a bad idea, I am happy to be back in LA and in 75 degree weather. Anyhow, still working on the much delayed new mix cd, at 71 minutes right now so hopefully it will be wrapped up soon. Got a new sticker coming out soon as well. Keep an eye on the blog and myspace as I will be putting some new tracks up soon as well. Also, if you are in LA I'm spinning at Foxtail this Sunday with DJ Quickie. Happy New Years!

Into The Wild Pt. 2

I will be spinning up in the great frontier state of Alaska on the 19th and 20th of this month at Platinum Jaxx, if you happen to be in Anchorage or are a serious fan, fly up and check out the sounds of yours truely. For those who don't know, Anchorage is dope, don't sleep on it.

DJ Aristocat - 1 Week 2 Go Obama!.mp3

Hey Ya'll,

Put this track together today, we're in the election home stretch and I felt inspired so I made this from a speech Obama gave last night. I'm normally not a very political dude but I love speeches about unity and hope, so I've been feeling a lot of the speeches this year. (I also love Public Enemy.)

Zshare F'd

Apparently the site that hosts my downloads on this blog has been shut down via lawsuit in order to stop music piracy so none of the download links on this page work as of a few days ago. I'm going to wait and see what happens with zshare and if they are down for good I will re-up through another site when I get a chance. Thanks to all,
A
